What is inside the converter?
Inside a catalytic converter is a combination of three precious metals: Platinum, Palladium and Rhodium.

What is an after market?
This is a replacement for the original catalytic converter.

What is a pre?
This converter is on cars that have two converters. This is generally a smaller converter on a car that helps initially controls emissions as the car is warming up.

How do I purchase loose material?
Unless you know specifically where the material came from, it is best to be conservative. You can either collect a small portion for us to sample or use price of your lowest converter on a per pound basis.

Are there converters not from a car?
Yes, anything that controls emissions can be recycled. This ranges from converters in your car to diesels in buses and trains to various building parts. For more information please go to http://www.recycalytics.com.

How do I get the converters to you? And who pays to ship?
There are two way to do this. (1) If you are near the Newark area, you can bring in your converters to our warehouse. (2) If you are outside the area, we can coordinate and pay for the shipment of your converters.

How do I get paid?
After your approval of our grading and pricing, we can pay cash, send a check or wire your payment. You decide what method is most convenient for you.

How do I know your pricing is fair?
Prior to selling your converters, we will send you a price list. So feel free to compare our price list to the competition.

Is there a minimum number I can sell you?
This number will vary based on location.

Do you buy from all over the county?
Yes, we buy from all over the United States plus Canada and Puerto Rico.
